¼ cup cocoa powder
2 Tbsp maple syrup
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 cup coconut milk (carton, refrigerated kind)
1/3 cup chia seeds
Optional: coconut cream, unsweetened coconut flakes, berries, chocolate chips, cacao nibs, peanut butter chips or crushed nuts
Sift cocoa powder into a medium mixing bowl. Add maple syrup and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth. Add coconut milk and whisk to combine. Add chia seeds and whisk once more. Cover and chill for about 4 hours. Top with optional ingredients or mix them in to make it your own!
